Veterans Wellbeing Centre Hornsby Presents: “My War Never Ends”

A Video Documentary Chronicling the Enduring Impacts of War and Peacekeeping on Our Veterans

Join us for a poignant and thought-provoking journey into the lives of our Veterans, as they share their personal stories of the invisible wounds of war. This powerful video documentary, “My War Never Ends,” will delve into the profound mental and physical effects of combat and peacekeeping missions, exploring the enduring challenges faced by these brave individuals.

Through the firsthand accounts of our Veterans, we will witness the profound impact of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), a condition that can manifest years or even decades after active service. We will trace the milestones in the understanding and treatment of PTSD, highlighting the significant advancements made in supporting our Veterans’ mental health.

Alongside these personal narratives, the documentary will also showcase the support provided by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA), Lifeline and other support services showcasing the range of services and resources available to assist Veterans in their ongoing recovery.

“My War Never Ends” is a testament to the resilience and courage of our Veterans, and a reminder of the lifelong impact of their service. It is a call to action, urging us to continue to advocate for their well-being and ensure that they receive the support they deserve.

Stay tuned for the release of this groundbreaking documentary, and join us in honouring the sacrifices of our Veterans.
