Managing Your Medication Video
Veterans – Some of the most common health problems they may have include chronic pain, sleep disorders, and mental health disorders. But they may also face some different health risks than civilians. Serving to protect our country is a special job, and along with it comes some special risks and job hazards. The Veterans wellbeing Centre at Hornsby in conjunction with Alex Torrens From
Hornsby Heights Pharmacy have produced the following information video to assist veterans with “Managing Their Medication”.
Tank 169-043 Documentary
This is the untold true story from a first hand perspective of an Australian Tank Crew in Vietnam. The documentary will start with an outline of Australia’s tank Squadrons involvement in the Vietnam War. From here we will move to cover the major operations that the Australian tank crews participated in. The story will then move to the first hand experience recounted by the crew of 1 Alpha 1 Troop A Squadron. The crew featured in the documentary will be, Peter Rosemond, George Main, Mick Payne & Gary Williamson. All veterans who served together as a tank crew in Vietnam.

A Video Documentary Chronicling the Enduring Impacts of War and Peacekeeping on Our Veterans
Join us for a poignant and thought-provoking journey into the lives of our Veterans, as they share their personal stories of the invisible wounds of war. This powerful video documentary, “My War Never Ends,” will delve into the profound mental and physical effects of combat and peacekeeping missions, exploring the enduring challenges faced by these brave individuals.
Through the firsthand accounts of our Veterans, we will witness the profound impact of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), a condition that can manifest years or even decades after active service. We will trace the milestones in the understanding and treatment of PTSD, highlighting the significant advancements made in supporting our Veterans’ mental health.
Alongside these personal narratives, the documentary will also showcase the support provided by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA), Lifeline and other support services showcasing the range of services and resources available to assist Veterans in their ongoing recovery.
“My War Never Ends” is a testament to the resilience and courage of our Veterans, and a reminder of the lifelong impact of their service. It is a call to action, urging us to continue to advocate for their well-being and ensure that they receive the support they deserve.
